About the project

UC is a company owned by the Enento Group and has a credit reporting permit which they provide to banks and lenders. UC also offers services to consumers so they can check their credit data as well as secure themselves from frauds and identity theft online.


UC also has a plattform called minUC, which is for individuals to use to learn more about their credit information.
My mission is to better understand the end users, update the design of the plattform, make sure it aligns with the nordic design system and deliver designs for new features and initiatives within UC.

Redesign of minUC

MinUC is a website for consumers that lets you access many services from one place.

The website looks like a dashboard with cards and columns. When you first arrive on the website, you will see an overview of all the services available.
To access the services, you can use the menu on the left side of the page (on desktop).

Checkout flow optimization for desktop and mobile devices with the mobile-first approach in mind.

 

Design system

I create and add new components as needed, ensuring they are responsive across devices using auto layout, and create variants to simplify the usage of it when designing.

 
 

Responsiveness

When creating Figma wireframes, break points, mobile-first and component usage for specific devices are taken into great consideration. I prefer to always involve the front end developers as much as possible when exploring design solutions, as I see it as the most efficient way of working for agile/lean processes.

 
 

Behavior types

In order to better offer credit services and online security for individuals, we collect data from end users through in-depth interviews, survey questions and listening sessions with customer support (where we strictly follow confidentiality). The raw collected data is searched to then find patterns that ultimately - in its proper context - give us valuable user insights. The insights allow us to better understand why users act in a certain way and, above all, what the needs, the motivation, the ability level and the trigger for desired behaviors are.

I’m also involved in B2B initaitves within the compliance field, which I unfortunately can’t share as its a work in progress.
