ICA Store Intranet & editor interface - Landing pages

Problem space

The goal with the project was to create a new store intranet for all ICA stores in the country and to build an editor interface (CMS system) for the ICA Sverige editors.

The store intranet

The team and I implemented a modern intranet platform tailored for ICA Sverige. Through extensive user research, needs analysis, and understanding of the broad ecosystem within ICA, we have created a long-term solution to enhance internal communication and knowledge-sharing among store employees all over the country. By strengthening the communication between ICA Sverige and its stores, we have facilitated smoother information transfer. I have been responsible for gathering user requirements and collaborating with stakeholders, ICA’s in-house designers and developers to ensure that the finished product aligns with ICA’s vision, needs and requirements.

The editor interface

In parallel with designing the intranet platform, we developed an optimized editor interface to meet the needs of ICA Sverige’s editors, enabling them to customize and distribute news and knowledge-sharing articles to stores around the country. I was responsible for delivering the graphical user interface for the editor’s platform and delivered mid- to high fidelity Figma designs.

The design system

Throughout the project, I have worked closely with ICA's in-house designers and their design system to ensure that the design aligns with ICA’s visual guidelines such as colour palettes, shapes and copy.

The ecosystem

The project required a deep understanding of all operations at ICA Sverige, as the solution would affect both internal (ICA editors and officials) and external (ICA stores employees and managers) stakeholders.
